That’s why I take a one-on-one approach, taking the time during your consultation to really listen. Together, we’ll create a look that enhances your natural beauty and keeps your hair healthy—something that feels good, looks great, and fits into your everyday life.

I use Natulique colour and care products, made with certified organic ingredients—gentle on your hair, kind to your body, and better for the environment.

I’m also known for my curly haircuts. As a curl specialist, I understand how to work with texture—how to cut, colour, and care for your curls so they feel their best and are easy to manage at home.

These packages cover balayage and foil work—whether you’re brightening your blonde, adding dimension with lowlights, or softening regrowth for a seamless blend.

Blonde Package – Lightening services with toning and strengthening to keep your blonde bright and healthy.

Hair Cutting & Blow Waves

A customised curl-by-curl cut using curl-specific techniques, plus wash and style to bring out your natural texture.

Blow Wave & Styling – from $70

My story…..

Hi, I’m Claire Louise—an Irish-born hairdresser with a deep love for people, creativity, and helping others feel like the best version of themselves.

If you ask my parents, they’ll say I was born to do this. I was the kid who spent hours cutting my Barbies’ hair and chatting to anyone who’d sit still long enough. I started my first Saturday salon job at 14, began studying hairdressing at 16, and was lucky enough to train alongside some of Ireland’s best.

After discovering how much I loved sharing knowledge, I went on to complete a teaching degree and taught hairdressing in college before moving to Australia in 2014. Since then, I’ve worked my way up to Creative Director in a Melbourne salon, and in May 2024, I launched Claire Louise Hair, now based inside the stunning Mikal Dunn Salon in South Yarra.

I specialise in lived-in blondes, dimensional colour, and curly haircuts, and I’m proud to be known for my warm, one-on-one approach and helping people embrace their natural texture.

I’m also the founder of Breathe Análú—a breathwork offering that supports emotional wellbeing through the power of breath, presence, and release. While hair is my first love, the values of care, connection, and inner calm flow through everything I do.
